How to Apply

Step 1: Apply online

Complete the online application form for internal students (note: you will need to log into your Office365 account to access the form): Internal Application Form 

Step 2: College Guidance Meeting

You will receive an invitation for your College Guidance meeting. You will need to confirm and attend an appointment to discuss your application. You will receive your conditional offer during this meeting.

Step 3: Offer Holders Day (optional)

In June we have our Offer Holders’ Day, we recommend all applicants attend this transition day where they will study their first lesson in their chosen subjects, complete induction tasks in a study period and an enrichment activity.

Step 4: Enrolment Day

GCSE results day is our formal enrolment day. Once you have picked up your results, make your way to our enrolment desks in the main hall and one of our college experts will help you to enrol at the college.

External Student (from other High School)

 

Step 1: Apply online

Complete the online application form for external students: External Application Form

Step 2: Send us your most up-to-date report

Once you have applied, you will need to send your most up-to-date school report which includes an indication of attendance, attitude to learning and current/predicted grades.

You need to email this report to kvickers@sandbachhigh.co.uk.

Step 3: College Guidance Meeting

You will receive an invitation for your College guidance meeting. For external students this may be on-site or over the phone, you will need to confirm and attend an appointment to discuss your application. You will receive your conditional offer during this meeting.

Step 4: External College in Action Day (optional)

All external applicants will be sent an invitation to join us at our external college in action day in February. This is a great opportunity to meet other external candidates, complete taster lessons in your chosen subjects and to get an idea of the college environment.
