Key stage 4 students at Sandbach High School

In the course of Key Stage 4 you will find out about what is offered at Sandbach College. At the start of Year 11 you will take part in a College open afternoon as well as an Open Evening in November, to which your parents are also invited. During these events, you will find out about life in College and the subjects which we offer. In the autumn term you will be invited to participate in our College in Action Day where you will experience life as a Sixth Form student and attend lessons in subjects of your choice.

On submitting your application form you will be invited to a College interview at which we will give guidance so you can make the right course choices for your future before being offered a place at Sandbach College.

After completing your GCSEs you will be invited to a College Applicants’ Day in June or July to help you prepare for the transition to College study.

On receiving your results on GCSE results day the College team will be on hand to confirm your enrolment at our College. Should you require further guidance or wish to change courses, we will be here to support you.
